Create your own meditation spot for a healthy mind, body and spirit

Creating a meditation spot in your house will help create a relaxing atmosphere where you can tune “out” the world in order to tune “in” into yourself. By designating a spot or a room for meditation, you set the intention for that space and its purpose for a healthier mind, body and spirit.

What you will need:

  • Pillows
  • Aromatherapy lotions
  • Candles
  • Incense sticks
  • Crystals or
  • Personal items that have a significant meaning to you (a piece of jewelry from a loved one, a feather, a picture from a family member who passed away, etc.)

If you can’t dedicate an entire room, then find a spot in a room (ideally where TV isn’t always on and there are less distractions). The room should be free of clutter and have enough space for a pillow and a small table where you can place the items above.

Enjoy your little space of serenity. You deserve it!
