Awaken the Creatrix Within Using Your Human Design Chart

You know the bliss you feel when you’re in the creative flow, writing and words flowing or creating art one brush stroke after another. There is nothing like it. You feel like you are one with your creation. You become what you are creating.

Once I started learning my human design, I realized how much more I have access to my creative flow when I am in tune with my defined energy and especially when I’m following my strategy and authority.

I use my open energy centers to receive inspiration and ideas (through my open head center) and act on the ones that light me up by following my generator strategy of waiting to respond and making the decision using my sacral authority, my gut instinct.

My whole life I’ve felt I was lead by this instinct even the smallest decisions I would make using this inner gut feeling. Having a sacral defined makes you a generator or manifesting generator (if you also have a motor center connected to your throat center).

Sacral authority is one of seeking joy and pleasure in the moment. The decision with sacral is made in the moment when you are responding to an invitation or something you read or watch. What we don’t realize is we are always responding to life, our thoughts, our beliefs, and the world around us.

Your energy is a prerequisite for your creative flow

But what do you do when you get out of alignment with your strategy? What happens when you are burned out and you don’t have the energy to create?

We are all designed to take care of our wellbeing first and foremost. Nothing can be done by forcing and pushing against your body when it’s tired and exhausted.

My own mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health are my top priority. Nothing will get done if I don’t get the basics – my 7 to 8 hours of sleep, good nutrition, daily exercise, and yoga and meditation practice.

What you have to understand is it all starts with valuing yourself – regardless of what you create or produce. It starts with loving and accepting yourself fully and completely so that you can then do what you love for the love of the process and not the outcome or the final destination.

How to awaken the creatix within using your human design chart

The best way to awaken the creatrix within, and let your juices flow is by following your strategy:

    • Generators and Manifesting Generators: waiting to respond; waiting for something in your outer reality to excite you to kickstart the creative process

    • Projectors: waiting for invitation or recognition; once you’re invited and recognized for your guidance, you can make a decision using your authority

    • Manifestors: letting others know what you’re doing then initiating and acting on your creative flow

    • Reflectors: waiting a 28-day lunar cycle to make a decision using your authority

As a generator or alchemist in Quantum Human DesignTM waiting doesn’t mean I do nothing although there are times I do exactly that. It simply means living, not in the future or the past, but in the present moment. When I’m living fully in the present moment, I am more in tune with what’s happening within and around me so that when ideas strike, I can listen to my gut/sacral reaction – Ahh huhh (Yes) or Uhn Uhn (No).

And there is no perfect way of following your human design but to experiment. A lot of my intuitive hits come through my intuitive mind / defined Ajna or third eye center. I’ve been in the creative field for more than 18 years. I always felt my ideas came from this detached / outside of my physical body, energetic field. The idea for a website design or a creative video idea would just pop up in my mind and I’d start sketching out wireframes before starting any design work.

For any creative person, their sketchbook or a journal is one of the things they depend on and must have. I have dozens of journals in my house. Some I’d start using for dreams, others for making notes, and some for writing poetry, and others for jotting down ideas. But who am I kidding?! I use them all interchangeably – when an idea strikes, I grab whatever book is closest and is open to start writing before I lose my words. 🙂

Use the wisdom of your open energy centers

Open Head Center:

You are always inspired and you see unlimited possibilities wherever you go. Head center is a pressure center so it’s important to discern that whenever you feel pressured to figure things out or to answer questions, which questions are yours to answer and which ones are not. Follow your strategy and authority for discernment.

Open Ajna Center:

You are aware of limitless ways of thought processing, and you are very open minded. You can read the minds of others and you grab concepts very easily. You are wise about information and beliefs, and let go of the need for certainty.

Open Throat Center:

You know your words are wisest when you are invited to speak. You save your words for people who truly want to hear your insights. You wait to respond, to be invited or recognized by the right people who value your opinion and what you have to say.

Open Heart/Will Center:

You are aware of your and everyone’s innate worthiness. You make agreements based on your strategy and authority. You know you have nothing to prove and operate from a state of deep value and self worth. You take care of your energy to prevent burnout.

Open G/Identity Center:

You are aware of the impact your environment has on you. Your experience changes based on who you are with, so you choose to surround yourself with people who feel good to you.

Open Emotional Solar Plexus Center:

You are hyper aware of where other people’s energy starts and ends and where yours begins. You allow others to experience their emotions without having to make their experience your own. You are very clairsentient and you trust the feelings you get from people and environment around you.

Open Spleen Center:

You are aware of your sensitive immune system and the various ways you receive intuitive wisdom. You listen and take care of your body. When you feel sick, you rest. You learn to honor your own sense of time and respect other people’s sense of timing.

Opent Sacral Center:

You are here to be wise about work force energy. Because your sacral energy is mutable, you take care of your energy and let go of society’s expectations of what it means to be productive. You know you are not here to work in traditional sense, and you take time to recharge and work in short bursts of time.

Open Root Center:

You are aware of the pressure to do with an open root center and you make powerful decisions about being free regardless if all of your to-do list items are done or not. You create time for rest and relaxation to regenerate your energy. You know there is always an abundance of time to do the work you enjoy.

About Open Emotional Solar Plexus

Now with the open centers like the emotional solar plexus for me, is one of my biggest inspirations for my creativity. In Quantum Human DesignTM this center is called the Creative Center and rightfully so because emotions and creativity are tied together. When you are in the flow you are are emotionally connected to your higher self, or Source or whatever you want to call it.

The emotions are the driver for creativity. With an open emotional solar plexus we have a wide variety of ways of experiencing emotions and that is truly a gift. We are able to embody the character or the emotion we are channeling to come through on the piece of paper in front of us. Think of actresses, actors, artists, and any other creative fields – the emotions help us carry out the projects from start to finish.

What gets in the way of our creativity?

Mental conditioning. If we can strip down our limited beliefs and go back to ourselves, how we were when we were children – when we believed anything is possible, we would go back to our purest selves, when we had no mental conditioning or constructs of how life should be.

I’ve always worked in the corporate world but I had this inner drive to write, to create, and build something outside of my work – on my own. I had this deep calling to create my own platform to inspire others to create. I started The Spiritual Sense in August 2019 when I felt like it’s time for me to stop just consuming content but to create my own, using my own voice to lift people up.

It started with writing about grief – oh boy is it liberating to pour your heart out during the grieving process. Because everyone grieves differently I knew I had to express my heart and that it would heal me while also help other grieving souls.

During this process of creating The Spiritual Sense, I came across a lot of people who wanted to start their own blogs and solo businesses – but one thing I found is that most of the people I talked to just needed support that their ideas are worth of pursuing and help them believe in themselves.

Generators make up most of our society and they are burned out because they are doing the work that does not excite them. We’ve all been conditioned to believe that we need to go to school to get good grades to be able to get into a good college, get a degree, then get a job, save money, go on annual vacations and then retire – and then maybe after we retire we do something we love.

Around 2019 I felt this belief was so depressing. I liked my job and the people I worked with because I did what I love but I was curious, part of me still wanted to produce something of my own. I wanted to help other creatives as well as channel my words of inspiration and works of art to inspire others.

You don’t have to quit your job to start a side gig or a project. Just start small. Create your plan and content one day at a time. See how it makes you feel. When you make time for yourself to follow your gut into creating what your heart wants, a world of opportunities opens up for you. You inspire people. You heal your wounds along the way. And you begin to trust and value yourself more and more as a co-creator of your reality.
